Integrate EV Charging Infrastructure
With customers looking to install and develop EV charging infrastructure they are often required to increase their site import connection. Current rapid charging technology often requires at least 150 kW for each charger so the risk of load spikes will increase.
Sites have a negotiated power import level with their distribution network operator and if the site demand exceeds this level it will be charged for the breach and may risk not having the power delivered.
E-STOR systems can be used to manage the load of EV chargers by discharging to flatten load spikes when chargers are in use. They can also be integrated with on site renewables to manage load spikes and decarbonize EV charging.
